International Competition of Piano Delia Steinberg is a contest of piano founded in Madrid (Spain) in 1982 for the pianist and philosopher Delia Steinberg Guzmán (n. 1943), director at the time of her International Organization New Acropolis in Spain, in order to promote new values of the Music. Since then it has formed a part of the juror. == History == The contest was born in 1982 with the name of Competition of Piano New Acropolis, organization that the same one was supporting. It received his current name the year 2008. From his beginnings it has served to stimulate the artistic career of young pianists. The contest is celebrated annually in Madrid. The contest celebrates in the last years in the Theatre Victory of Madrid.
